Once cooking oil is recycled, biodiesel fuels are created. Biodiesel fuels are clean and, therefore, minimize pollution. Carbon dioxide emissions are reduced when utilizing biodiesel fuels. Using biodiesel fuels helps to decrease greenhouse gas emissions from vehicles and industries up to 90 percent.
While using recycled cooking oil as a transportation fuel is one of its main uses, there are many other uses for used frying oil. Soap-making is a fast-growing alternative to process waste cooking oil. Waste vegetable oil to soap is both economically sustainable and environmentally friendly as there are no waste products formed.
